Are You Related to the Signers of the Bush River Declaration?

Writing for the Tribune Star (, Tamie Dehler tells the fascinating story of a group of men who authored and signed a document much like the Declaration of Independence, but as early as 1775. The "Bush River Declaration," signed on 22 March 1775 is often referred to as "the first Declaration of Independence made by any representative body in America."
