I was so sorry to hear of Karen's accident and passing. She will be sorely missed by everyone! She was always so helpful and wonderful to everyone! It will be so very hard to replace her; her dedication, her enthusiasm and the generosity of her time will never be replaced. My deepest condolences to her family. Sue Styx

I was truly startled by Karen’s passing, because I was just with her on June14. I attended several of the classes the Karen taught. She was always willing to assist with questions & individual assistance. On June 14 the PGS hosted a Largo genealogy library tour for the Jewish genealogy group & Karen volunteered to take pictures for the group. The resent connection with Karen was part of the impact for me.
I am currently reading a book on retirement & Karen’s passing has reinforced this subject for me. I don’t want to philosophies on the subject, but if you would allow me a couple points.
1. Now is the time to bond with our families.
2. Now is the time to write our family histories.
3. Now is the time to bond with our spiritual lives.
Well you get the point. We can’t afford to put off the relationships in our lives.
