The Anamosa Library in Jones County, Iowa provides an newspaper archive that will be of interest to you if you have ancestors from that area. The archive includes ten newspapers ranging variously in publication from 1856 to about 2011.
At the landing page, mouse over the "Resources" tab at the top of the page and then click on "Newspaper Archive" from the drop down menu. That will take you to the search box and several filter choices.
