Death Photography: You May Have An Example in Your Collection

This article for the BBC News by Bethan Bell describes the practice of photographing the deceased and perhaps even posing them with living family members. Such was the practice in Victorian England.

Morbid as it may sound, there was reason for it, and Bell's article makes for fascinating reading as he explains it.
