Historical Timeline of Michigan

If you are like me, every so often you like to draw out a timeline to help give clarity to your research, and even to find a way through a brick wall. This article by William Dollarhide, published in Leland Meitzler's Genealogy Blog, give a time line of historical events in formation of Michigan.

If you have ancestors who lived in Michigan between 1612 and 2016, plotting your ancestor's life events against these historical events can be illuminating.
