The FreeREG project focuses on parish registers from England, Scotland, and Wales. It gives us free online access to transcriptions of entries in those documents.
After entering your search criteria, the hit list will give you a single line of typed information for each hit. That single line can be expanded by clicking on the "detail" column at the far right of the line.
